Whew, finally got a picture of this one! I'd actually finished it before Xmas, so it's been hanging around for awhile. The center cab is an ammonite fossil that I held in with a circular peyote stitch (size 10 seed beads if I remember correctly), and the rest is embriodery. It's backed on black suede and closes with dress hooks.This piece is for sale! Note me if you're interested.

I like how you have the fossil held down, it really makes it stand out. Also, the one circle of black beads looks nice with the random pattern of the rest of the bracelet.

This is definitely a nifty piece of work. It looks better in person, but you got a good picture of it anyway. ^..^ I love the complimentary colors and the way the beads hold the ammonite in.
