Description A Discworld Samuel Vimes portrait. I hope I painted him better this time.

I called the picture "The Law", because in "Men At Arms" he was saying something like "The law,you son of a bitch,this is who I am!" ...well, maybe not exactly that - no need to repeat that I don't have the English versions of the books. Well,anyway,I hope you fans will like it, even though the scanning is bad again.

plainclothesrasta got there before me - I've noticed in a few of your Vimes pictures that he has an essence of Clint Eastwood about him and for some reason it seems to really work!
Fab pics, Vimes is fab - but I like lots of the characters, I'm easily pleased (although I agree with you on your dislike of Susan but I generally thought that Angua was ok...)

Have you played the games? I love the first one (D--ra--gon) but it was so ridiculously hard - I just loved all the scenes, especially the long road which led through the town - fantastic! The last one (as far as I remember) had a lot of werewolf stuff in it near the end so if you haven't played them that one might interest you (you may have to e-bay it as they're quite old!)

I love his expression! It really depicts Vimes belief that everyone is guilty. And he does have a wonderful amount of scruffiness He's always been my favorite.

Thank you. Well,in two words,he's a character from a book by Terry Pratchett,he fights criminals,and he's got a very interesting,sharp,deep,tough personality that was worth illustrating...

Thank you. I finally made it happen,a version of Vimes that actually has something to do with Vimes... I worked on that one a lt,had to fix up the eyes for a long time... SO glad you liked it
