Not to critique, because it's not really meant to be criticism. I'm just curious as to why there is no reflection of light on the waves, especially where the moon is. Maybe that was done on purpose?
And I do like this piece.

Thanks, that seems to be the comment I get most often for this piece. It's kind of interesting, because it has been other people who have gotten me to notice that I'm good at reflecting different moods/emotions through my pieces. I guess it's not something I think about consciously.
I really need to photograph this one again. The moon isn't quite that close to the edge in the actual painting. I had to crop off to much of the edge after the first time I scanned it in.
