When you feel like going to the club, but...

I re-worked the image quite a bit. The original was actually built on several backgrounds if I remember correctly. I made the Sun, Earth, and stars in in one image, then used it as a background for the terrain. Then used the terrain as a background for the overall image. Almost everything was done in one shot for this render. The Sun, Earth, terrain, and Lunar station are all part of the same image. The Earth is actually a composite of the wonderful textures that come in the package (with a few modifications) and a couple layers in GIMP. The stars were painstakingly clicked out by me in GIMP as I could not seem to make a satisfactory night sky in Carrara.
