Now this raichu has got some 'tude!
I just love how much personality you've put into this formerly simplistic anime creature. That face just has so much character. That gingery topknot you've stuck on its head really gives the pokemon an extra bit of charisma, as do the lynxish ear tufts it's got. It's cool how you decided to actually show some obvious rodent teeth on raichu. It's pretty rare to get a glimpse of the 'chu line's teeth, but from what I remember, they didn't look exactly mouselike in the original anime.
Those boldly flashing electric sparks are really impressive. And that tail almost looks like an electrical cable itself. The partial anthropomorphization is rather neat, in a slightly freaky and uncanny sort of way. It's pretty funny and strange to see this raichu give a 2-fingered pose with tiny human-like black fingers (a little ironic that it's got them while pikachu doesn't, seeing as it's pikachu who has tiny hands, raichu being fingerless) on its stubby rodent body, with all the fuzzy hair and big flat feet of a nutria. The hair is especially nice because it gives that feel of being filled with static itself, which does a great deal of good to the pokemon's look. I also like the fact that its heel seems to have the same curly pattern as raichu's earlobe.
