Okay,normally this wasn't my idea,buuut i got some,um comments/notes/messages about people who are a bit um...i dunno,bothered about my bondage deviations(Note: Please,don't reply those comments,i'm not sad,hurt or anything,is just what it started all,please Don't bother them just for defend my art.)
So,i was thinking "Do i should turn ON the content filter?",then my answer is maybe yes,but also not,why? i have some reasons
If i turn it ON the content filter:
as Said, And as much i don't wanna belive it,sadly the bondage have something to do with Sexual things that means what if i turn the censor filter ON the deviant's wouldn't get upset for my art and the kids woulnd't see this type of art,witch it would be nice for me,cuz the last thing that i wanna do is bother someone with my actions
Yeah,i know,accepting that bondage have something to do with Sexual themes allows me to draw that,but the thing is i don't like that type of stuff,so i'll do something,if you request a NSFW art,i'll don't do it for free (What?,if you make me draw these type of things i can bill you )
also, an edited version would be "strictly" censored,yeah i said that "Strictly" Censored...
And of course If turn it on you can still see my bondage artwork clicking on display this deviation anyway or on my Tumblr blog,is not all the stuff that is on DA,but at least is better than nothing...no?

but also,there is something that i don't get it well,like: What would do a kid on site like Deviant art? i mean,i have a friend who have a little brother and i know what is he doing on the internet,and what is doing? playing games online,wich makes me think :the kids really would use deviant art a lot? i dunno well
also,i think turning the content filter wouldn't be a little helpful on that case,if the kids did register on some site before,obiously they gotta lie about they age,and that means: if they put an age up to 18 they can easily turn off the Censor filter if they want
Really,my art is not so popular,oh...(i almost forgot it) please,don't share my deviations with other people,especially if they are not into bondage (i'm talking to you ,please stop doing that)

I'll say this,i did never igonerd someone before even block it,but if i don't turn the content filter i would be forced to ignore those comments (as long i don't want to..) yeah,i'm going to reply about it,but i'm not going to turn it on anyway
I would need to be a less "kindly",i mean,if i'm not going to turn the content filter ON i need to make the commenters know that No means No, (wich i woudln't like to do)
So,what's my opinion about this? i'm on the middle of yes/no...i really don't know what to do,if i'm honest..
so,as so many thing that i said before,i'll let the answer up to you, or by random wich it would just: take a coin and drop it to the ground..
um,anyway..what do you think about it?
And please,if you gonna respond that ask,let me know why,don't say thing like: looks great or it doesn't bother me,i wanna hear a nice reason

hmm...for my view, i am still an artist. I have few people who said about this and report me, they even write a rant in me. I have think a lot to be honest. I think that bondage isnt that related to sexual stuff. Like if you look at the pokemon, almost all of it is naked so that funny to say tbh. Tbh, im join to da is because of you.
Anyways, you started draw this when you were like 13? So am i, i have seen more worse thing on here and on some other site. Your art didnt break any rules or terms on DeviantArt so cheers, you dont need to do it and i know you dont want to it either. To be honest, everyone, except haters are not happy when see you gallery full of mature content pics. We like your bondage pics

Well, last time I checked the rules of this site, if there's explicit content (like genitals are showing, sex, blood and gore, etc.) then yes, a mature filter is necessary.
But IMO, your bondage art doesn't show anything I listed, so you're safe without the filter; even if someone doesn't like it for it's content, don't censor yourself 
Besides, I've seen much worse on here, with some not having the filter!
Anyway, that's my two cents about this issue--if there's any explicit things in your art, yes, the mature filter is needed, but for now, you don't need to as they're not breaking the rules

If I were to decide, yes, you should.
Fetishes aren't really meant to be on deviantart, for some sites are better for this.
Young children could enter a false age year just to get into deviantart, seeing inappropriate content like this at a young age could give many thoughts of it, not knowing what it is and thinking it is "appropriate" could really lower their reputation to haters of the fetish, etc. It being done by young audiences ruins the fetish all in all. Your artwork, yes, is very impressive and must have taken a while to learn to draw it often. But adding fetish work to a "kids" anime kind of worsens the image of the artwork.
This is my opinion, and I'm not forcing you to agree with me, it's an opinion and my opinions are NOT fact.

It depends on how you view your art. if you thing it might be "strong", then, yes, you can add the filter. Personally, I don't think that helps, half of the time though.

Well, bondage could be considered something sensitive for people. I guess you should still keeping your art uncensored. I mean, is not sexual content, pornographic content or extreme violence/gore, DeviantArt doesn't state that bondage is not allowed, so go ahead. c:
I must admit, I don't like bondage. I even told you something about that, and I'm sorry. But that doesn't mean that you should stop doing that or censor stuff that I don't like; you're allowed to do whatever you want. I mean, heck, your drawings are amazing! They're pretty well done, and bondage doesn't ruin it. Just because people are telling you that your art is disturbing or sensitive doesn't mean that you must stop doing bondage.
Anyway, it's up to you. Remember, you're not that responsible for people's aftermath, just do what you like.

I've thought about doing this myself tbh but ultimately decided against it. The way I see it if people are determined enough to see your art they will just create an alt account or lie about their age. That and if they do discover it via your page at least their stumbling into the playful side of things rather than something rather more unpleasant. I'd consider it however if your going into violence of nudity in your art (although you can probably get away with implying it). Hoped this helped

I find it awesome that you take peoples feelings into consideration! Especially considering some people have some trauma with forms of bondage being a repressing and forceful thing that is sexualized. In other words, Forcing someone incapable of moving to have sex with them. But not only that but that you also think of how it could affect kids and people who aren't into it in general. In my opinion though. Your art seems harmless. There isn't really anything that needs to be censored. Kid cartoons have bondage in them (Or at least they did when I was a kid) Like the bad guy tying up the good guy like in pokemon earlier seasons, and such. So really the only thing your art can do is inform a child of what bondage is, make a fan happy by seeing more of your work, or it gets some sicko fuel for his thoughts. But if your art is intended for good things and just to show off your appreciation of art and your style of doing it. You should not need a filter. If it involved a bit heavier stuff then maybe consider it.

No don't do it, you are doing absolutely nothing wrong. You aren't responsible for what kids may or may not see, that responsibility falls on parents. All you are doing is drawing pokemon and their cartoon animals, you don't draw them with any parts that would require a mature content filter so there's nothing to show in your art.

Nah it's the parents job to do something if they have a problem with it, a kid will look this up cause it's pokemon and you honestly match the anime's style pretty well. Besides you just draw it for fun, nothing dirty happens in any of the pics you draw.

I started censoring mine a while ago, but that was because I no longer wish to be associated with that type of art anymore.
Don't pay attention to SJWs who only want to get their way by screaming, they are insignificant.
If you don't want to, then don't. If you do feel you should, then go ahead, we won't mind either way.
Just promise us you won't let someone bully you into your decision. That doesn't go well, and you shouldn't be bullied.

I can understand how you feel. While it's true that bondage is usually sexual, that doesn't mean it ALWAYS is. I mean seriously, some people like and/or draw bondage, but in a non-sexual way. I prefer it when it's really soft core and it does exist. Sometimes I find it weird to see tame bondage tagged as mature, when it really doesn't need to be tagged.
The point is, it always depends on how you draw it. If there are no sexual themes and the bindings aren't very complex, then no, tagging it is not necessary. However, if it is sexual or has anything else inappropriate, then it should be tagged (oh and if the bindings are shibari).
So overall, don't worry too much. Your art for the most part is very tame. Save that tag for the more explicit art.

I was pointed to your submission by a friend. As someone who's been through all this before, I'm happy to share my thoughts on this topic. You've touched on several subjects, so let's go through them...
1. What is the Mature Content Filter? I'm sure you understand how it works, but I think you mixed up its meaning when writing this. The filter only applies to you and affects what you see when you browse. I think what you meant to say was the Mature Content Tag which is the setting that specifies whether your submission contains mature content when you upload it.
2. What is allowed on DA and what is considered mature content? This is the part most people get wrong. You should read and understand the following FAQs, and provide links to them for others when they try and tell you that your content should be marked as mature.
- FAQ #554: Is my deviation Mature Content?
- FAQ #565: You prohibit the submission of 'pornographic imagery'; what do you consider this to be?
Having looked briefly at your gallery, I don't think you need to flag your work as mature. Consider that characters in kids' cartoons get tied up all the time, and that's not considered inappropriate.
3. What about underaged viewers? You can't do anything about it. They have lied about their age in order to view nudity and other 'naughty things' and they will face the consequences, however shocking it might be. It's not your job to police that.
4. Why are people harassing me? DA is just like any other website full of immature kids, trolls, haters and easily triggered individuals. Many of them will shout louder than the average majority and therefore appear to be more numerous than they actually are. You should ignore them if they can be categorised as any of the above. I have been harassed in the past, including being targeted by a small group of furry haters, but I didn't cave in. I blocked them as soon as possible, reported the issues, and soon enough they either got bored and went away, or got banned (maybe for harassing me, or maybe because they continued to act badly towards others too). Seriously, if people are getting mad at you for posting animals tied up, they'd probably have a heart attack if they saw my gallery!
5. Serious tone of voice for serious discussion. This isn't mentioned directly in your writing, but it's the way you write. I would be able to take you a lot more seriously if you did some thorough spelling & grammar checking and didn't use Pikachus all over the place. If you're submitting something playful then it's fine, but this is a serious submission on a serious issue.
So, in conclusion, carry on doing what you love and just stick to the official rules, not to what others try to impose on you.
