I mean if an intern survives long enough they take over for Cecil, I'd assume, so maybe since he loves his job so much he's making sure no one replaces him

Personally, I don't think that Cecil doesn't care but he has lost so many interns over the course of his career that he has become numb to it.

My headcanon is that Cecil has always been the Nigtvale radiohost always...the interns are just there because there a thing that radios have.

But I think that on the phone he was mindlessly leading her toward the more dangerous path, I don't think they are friends but I don't think he has bad intentions either, he's just kind of inconsiderate.

I don't know, the creators of the show and Cecil Baldwin himself seem to think that Cecil the character is a really lovely guy that genuinely cares about the town's residents and that's why people relate to him so much. While I'm not really on board with the whole 'Cecil is the mastermind behind all the bad things' theory, I agree he can be a bit distractedly self-centred sometimes. But for me, that just makes him all the more relateable, because he's a flawed person.

Any time Cecil goes on a rant about Steve it’s awesome. As for the interns…they knew what they were getting into, it’s in the paperwork! “N.V.C.R. is not reasonable for your safety or death” that is just one less person to worry about! Though obviously Dana is a BA cuz she is in fact not dead! N.V.C.R. needs more Interns like her…and Tamika Flynn when she is older if she is interested 
P.S. I like it when you give Cecil pupils even if they don’t work…I forget, is your Cecil blind? Is like why he only has pupils half the time?
