: Historically, the oldest known civilizations, began by the elves. In myth, Tenumbre was the firstborn of Morygan, given the most of his spare magic to do with as she pleased. Breathing fire across the eggshells she hatched from, she created the first half of the island bridge that loosely connects Tenumbre and Verity.

: Tenumbre has a much more varied and intense climate than Verity, possibly due to the much higher concentration of magical crystals beneath its surface. Demons tend to have chronic migraines while living here, but some adjust over time.
