Shielding your eyes from the sun, you see him, stretching in the sand, snoring away on his beach blanket, his hands poised on his bare, oddly muscular chest. His lean, sinewy arms soon cross, and his shoulders roll. Then, you watch him extend his legs, letting his toes meet the cool sand, wiggling around in the soft texture. A content groan escapes his sleeping form.

At last, you giggle and crawl over to him on all fours. He grunts when you approach and enter the shade of his umbrella, but you are careful not to disturb him. As gently as you can, you settle on the towel beside him and curl as close to his body as possible, without waking him. You run a hand through his coppery hair, picking the flecks of sand from his quiff, and then began to trace your fingers down his pale, rounded face and to his chest. The curves and framework of his torso intrigue you, and for a moment, you ponder the skin's intricacy. This is your first time seeing him without a shirt, and the man is much sturdier than you thought. His slim frame carries a great deal of strength, you can tell.

His strength is proven to you in mere seconds. He awakes, rolls over, and wraps an arm around your waist, securely fastening you to him.

"Trying to surprise me?" he murmurs, kissing your ear. "Bad idea, love. Now I've got the upper hand." He hoist you up, rolls onto his back, and positions you so that you're facing him. His hands lace into yours, splaying them out horizontally across the towel and into the sand, and his legs fasten around yours.

No position on earth could be more enjoyable.

"There's nowhere to go," he comments. "I hate to break the news to you, my dear, but I believe we have a stalemate."

You purse your lips, fighting the urge to smile. "I think you're wrong about that one, Tinkertoy," you say, using one of the many nicknames he has. "I have a plan to get myself out of this predicament."

You really don't; you just want to hear his response.

Tintin cranes his neck and places a warm kiss at the spot just below your jaw. "Are you sure you even want to leave, mademoiselle? I would prefer if you…" he kisses your chin this time, "… stayed here. With me. I'll have the captain move the umbrella, and we can sunbathe together?"

You smirk. "You mean suntan. Sunbathing is done nude, my good sir."

Tintin turns a bright red. "Oh, my mistake. Still." He plants his lips on yours and leaves them there as he speaks. "I would love it if you stayed here. Would you?" One of his hands leaps up to run through your hair, coaxing the answer out of you.

Kissing him a bit more passionately than you usually do, you nuzzle tighter to his body and lean your head in the crook of his neck. He is happy to adjust along with you, and soon the two of you have closed your eyes.

"Tintin?" you mumble into his shoulder blade.

"What is it, dear?"

"I love you."

A sound, almost like a purr, rumbles in his chest beneath you, washed with happiness. He kisses the crown of your head.

"I love you, too. So much."
