Description One of the best and most fun things about drawing Khajiit from the Elder Scrolls is the amount of artistic freedom there is.

In lore, the phases of the moons, Masser and Secunda, determine the form of individual Khajiit at birth.

Want a Khajiit that looks like a housecat? An Alfiq Khajiit born when Masser is waning and Secunda is full is what you need. Prefer the Khajiit from Morrowind with the digitigrade legs? Look for the Suthay-raht born when Secunda is waning and Masser is in a new moon phase.

I like to draw Cathay Khajiit, with plantigrade legs like a human. Most Khajiit prefer to be lightly armoured so I gave this character a long padded gambeson with a few hardened cuir bouili leather pieces. When I gave his small blue tabbard some embroidery, I decided to put him in service to the City of Torval. The City lies in the south-west of the province Elsweyr and is close to the border to the province of Valenwood and its city of Haven. Because of its location, I imagine Torval as an economic hub with great wealth. Thus, this khajiit is more richly outfitted than some other infantryman.

Thank you. My art style is still developing since I only started drawing earlier this year.

Now that is a nice figure.
Not sure where to begin - there is just something very inviting about the pose and proportions. The creases around the elbows are especially well done, and you've managed to convey the differing thickness of the fabric, particularly how the gambeson gives a rather tube-like appearance, not deforming a whole lot around the sash and shoulder strap. Quite a familiar feeling...
Know it is much the same technique as in your older khajiit, but got to say against this background, the fur is just fantastic. Even though the texture doesn't have a lot of detail, it looks almost luminously glossy. Might be a conscript, but this is one regal cat.
Speaking of texture, while the gambeson has a nice pattern, it is also detailed enough that it becomes noticeable that it doesn't follow the curves of the body.
The perspective of the feet is peculiar, but considering this seems intended to be first and foremost a character portrait, it isn't really fair to criticize when the background is pulling his feet out from under him.

Speaking of the background, I know this is not the style of DiTerlizzi, nor intended to be Morrowind, but something about it screams Elder Scrolls III - and its contemporaries. Maybe it is the solitary hall on a raised plinth, or maybe the large square of flat ground with an unbroken stony texture. Whichever it is, it is there and wonderful.

Well done.

Your comments keep pushing me to try extending what I can do. In my previous post, you mentioned a spot where I used colour for a detail: "Using colours rather than line art for some of the details was a nice choice. From a distance, the illusion of embroidery on the band down the middle is quite convincing" and my goal was to try to do much more of that (and indulge in my Elder Scrolls fandom)

And that, you certainly did. Save for a little bleeding on the door, the texturing is very nicely done.

I try especially not to sound pushing, since I very easily get cold feet under pressure - but if you feel it's a good thing, you're welcome.
