Description
This is Iolana. (her name is Hawaiian and means to soar like an eagle). This beautiful unicorn was done for a contest for her character 'shire' needed a mate. I took a kinda old idea of perhaps the 'an angel fell from the skies' way.

My verson of the story goes that upon a dark and stormy night something mysterious falls from the sky. Shire just happens to come upon 'it'. Slowly he approaches seeing its one of his kind sorta. He questions the being upon seeing her alive. she answers that she is a unicorn..i'll stop there for now.

It also comes to be that only upon a full moon night and a star filled, cloudless sky if a unicorn is born a blanket of white shall cover her back and stars shall be placed upon it.Every time a star dies a new spot shall appear upon the unicorns back.
