The going joke for this image is that poor Rakatak got into the forest but may find trouble getting out due to his massive rack. This goes on the common knowledge that most Irish Elk males if they did wander into a forested region would often die there because they didn't really grasp how to maneuver their racks between the trees. Thankfully, Rakatak has Norak to help him!

So, about this piece. I've rarely come right out and say that I'm proud of a piece but -- I am VERY PROUD of this piece. I have been utilize the benefit of some fantastic tutorials out there to help me improve my art skills. While everything within may not be applied or used immediately it's a massive help till I can get some more 'formal' schooling. This time I watched some of TsaoShin 's video's on their YouTube channel, TsaoShin's Channel that had actually be linked in this journal Let's Paint A Background Challenge . I know there is probably still a great deal more work to add to this but I've just been super happy with the turn out regardless and look forward to the improvement it will provide me. I highly recommend visiting both the channel and TsaoShin's page because their art is just awesome. And, I look forward to watching more tutorials to learn more great techniques.

Some thing I did as well was shade the two Irish Elks in some softer brushes then I have done and I'm quite liking the turn out. I know this is just an activity image that ended up having a massive amount of stuff done for it but I consider my activity images great practice places.
