in contrast to the Mesmer family, the Franks are pretty wholesome and sweet. Mr and Mrs Frank are both Muggle's who love and appreciate their weird son and his even weirder wife and they adore the weird little kids the two wound up having. They can be a tad old fashioned at times, making certain assumptions about things. But they do their best and are very supportive.

Gary's dad is a teacher! He generally teaches younger grades (i dont know much about schooling in the UK ill be real) but his favorite and best subject is in fact math. Both Carmilla and Jacob were homeschooled, though both grandparents played a part in teaching them. Grandma Frank was never a teacher herself, but she did meet her husband via working as a secretary in the school he got his first job at.
