I have been trying to get up on this roof for a while. I guess persistence pays off sometimes. I met up with my contact (name omitted to protect identity) after being introduced by a co workder. Sunset was at 4:42 so I knew a 4:30 start time would give us plenty of time to get to the top.We went up the freight VIP access all fancy with the trash bags and stuff. Once at the top of the freight we hit a couple flights of stairs and bam. Greeted by central park.
What a view, my contact was nice enough to entertain my humor, super nice guy. We spent about 30 minutes on the roof. Sometimes you get lucky and get some shots you can use. This was one of those times for me.
