Defiant until the end - a closer look at Nyssa, who I've been wanting to show by herself, not as a secondary character.

My thoughts behind this image is at the point in the Sons of Lur novel where Nyssa is captured by the enemy and spirited away. After some fairly reasonable conversations and the appearance of someone from Nyssa's half remembered past, she becomes bitterly defiant and is locked away to contemplate what she has said.

They think it will break her.

Instead it makes her stronger.

She's also out of normal clothing (no blues or browns here) as she has been dressed to be pleasing. There is some significance, but I won't tell ...
