and now its time to compare my Koopafied Luigi to DiC's Casanova Koopa. To be fair I put Luigi into a Tux.I can understand the reason if KZ Mario has his gloves was to keep him reconizable as Mario (As if the moustache, height, belly, and clothes don't tip it off) Casnaova is not as reconizable.
first of all the upper body development. With those shoulders, Luigi is built like a Linebacker and get a load of that chin.
He also doesn't have a shell. Then again it might be under that tuxedo jacket, and unlike Mario he doesn't have a tail.
Well if Cheatsy forgot to hide Kootie Pie's tail, then maybe Mario forgot to give Luigi one, and if that is the case then we can blame Mario for the rest of Casanova's look, especially the hair, and the colors of the outfit. Eggplant and lavender??? Luigi did deserve first dibs on the jacuzzi.
My dressed up Luigi just has his hair slicked back and he chose a basic black tux with green tie and cumberbund.

Well the Dic style koopa/bowser design is a little loose.
The reasoning is that at the time of the original Mario cartoon series (super show) little was known about how bowser looked as the sprite used in the original game was quite limited in color palette and detail.
So what Dic did was improvise and merge the designs of Wart (who actually had artwork connected to him in the game manuals) and the known designs of Bowser, the result was the King Koopa seen in Dic's three mario series, Super Show, Mario brothers 3 and Super Mario world.
The same reasoning came into the naming scheme of the koopa kids used in the series, at the time that SMB3 was made (the game not the series) Dic had the idea to try and capitalize on the hype about SMB3 and decided to make a series based on the new story premise.
However the names of the seven koopa kids was withheld from DIC and it wasnt until the series was released when the official names were known.

Its pretty much true, but I have a certain admiration for DIC and its efforts.
Its why I like DIC's sonic series, they were not really like the games but had a special flair to them.
For me I am no purist, the more original the better.
I personally dont care if the characters look the way they do in the games or not, standardization is the enemy of creativity.

Sonic SatAm was a great show. And the Mario cartoons were pretty fun, despite all the animation errors atleast Mario was more on scale than in Saturday Supercade.
