Description
My third foray into the bizarre world of "ponyfication". This time, at the recommendation of ~paulinaghost I've sunk my hoofs into Hasbro's "ThunderCats", an anthro-themed TV show and toy line that ran during the mid 1980s, and got an animated reboot in 2011.

Unlike "FULLMETAL Pony" and "Family Pony", I spent more time on the ponies' costumes, and the logo. The outfits in Fullmetal Alchemist and Family Guy were tricky to convert into horse clothing (ponies just DON'T do pants), but the costumes in ThunderCats were another matter. After all, the Thundercats wear skintight spandex or (in WilyKit and WilyKat's cases) small tunics, so selecting a wardrobe for the ThunderPonies wasn't too difficult.

The logo, however, took more work. For "FULLMETAL Pony" and "Family Pony", I'd been including the original "Pony" title and slogan art from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, changing only the word in front of "Pony" and the words of the slogan itself.
For ThunderCats, I decided to stick with the original metallic letter art for the "Thundercats" title, which meant I had to invent several new letters of my own (p, o, and e) for the "ponies" at the end of "Thunderponies", re-do the Thundercat logo into a horse's head, and get the metallic sheen on the title just right.

So yeah, a lotta work just to make one damn word

Anyway, from left to right, the Thunderponies are:

Ponythro (Panthro): The Thunderponies' mechanic and pilot, a fierce warrior who wields a pair of red and blue hoof nunchaku.
Maretara (Cheetara): The swiftest member of the Thunderponies, and a budding psychic who wields a bo staff.
Pony-o (Lion-o): The Thunderponies' brave leader, who wields the Sword of Equestria and the golden Hoof Shield.
Stalliona (Tigra): Pony-o's second in command and the Thunderponies' chief scientist and architect, who wields a bola.
Wilycolt and Wilyfilly (Wilykat and Wilykit): A pair of mischievous twins collectively referred to as the Wilyfoals, who usea variety of gadgets along with their wits to escape danger.

Looming behind the ThunderPonies is their archnemesis, the demonic undead sorceror Mustang-Ra (Mumm-Ra), servant of the Four Stallions of Evil.

And on the far left is Snarf (Snarf), Pony-o's protector since birth, who can communicate with animals. Since he is a Snarf rather than a pony, and wields no weapon, his membership status in the Thunderponies is somewhat questionable...although that's never stopped him from tagging along with them anyway.
