This is the art I designed for the Houston Roller Derby's 1st bout this March. I created it with a bunch of layers in photoshop. I started out with a basic sketch to get the proportion of the girls down & scanned in the sketch. I used the scanned image as a layer with low opactiy to make the basis for the layers on top. Unfortunately, the shading and detail aren't as visible from this jpg, but I think the printed poster will capture the effect that I was striving for. This is only the artwork- the flyer is going to have a lot of text & info regarding the bout when it's completed. I'll have to post that when it's complete.
