Description This inking I did several months ago, and just now made a bit prettier on the computer! It's inspired by a still of Anakin and Padme from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, when I first drew this the movie hadn't come out yet, and i didn't know yet that i wouldn't really care for the scene (sorry, but George Lucas can not write love!), but I still love the idea of their love, and the still is still beautiful!

I agree that lucas can't write a good love story--I think he tried--and I appreciated it--but if someone could write the book and screenwrite the love scene, then there would be more more diehard fans of these two. There would also be more reaction from the audience when all the obsticals and trials happened to them

Deffinitly. Also both of them are so great actors, and I get the impression they didn't really rehearse that much with George, (from interviews and such). It kindof seems like George just goes and picks the best actors he can, and puts them up there in front of the bluescreen, already knowing they have a lot of talent, so he doesn't really try and get the perfect performance out of them, so they might feel kind of lost.

Exactly--some who shares my frusteration with this!
I do believe they have alot of talent--but george and co just rushed it through. I know there could have been some real good stuff in there
I think people like the original trilogy better because there was a fullness in the motivation to really act and have a good time with it--as well as showing the characters emotions--the prequels were more focused on the technology and special effects rather than fullfilling the acting.
There were glimps I thought where I saw hayden christensen really coming out--then *Poof* it was suddenly gone...that made me mad!
ok I'm off my soapbox now^_^

I really like this! your drawings seem to be improving over time... assuming you're submitting them in chronological order. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

thank you! I think I did the drawing after GQ, but I did them both in the summer, before revenge of the sith had even come out. the happy hayden sketch thingy is the most recent, but I was also trying a different style.
