Description When I made my own solarsystem I first thought about how cool a eclipse seen from Cygniterra must be, when that gas giant on the sky moves slowly over the blue star and then it’s just like night for… idk maybe an hour since it’s a giant planet and not just a small moon that covers the sun and the shadows must also cover the whole planet.
Plus, because the Owy (the gas giant) is so big it has a ton of moons (43) that you could see from Cygniterra at the night sky.

If you want to know more about my "little" solarsystem I made for my robodoggos, you can read here: Cybel
But be careful, it's not done yet, means I maybe change this or that sometime... if you find some writing or logical misstakes or if you have some ideas, feel free to tell me!

This is so beautiful! I've always been fascinated with world building and other worlds.
And whenever I see a scene like yours I want to know more about what life is like on the world.
Also purple is one of my favorite colors!

GOD bless

This looks really nice!

I bet the people living in such a planet wouldn't have the same awe of a eclipse, since it'd be something that would happen so often xD and i am not sure if it'd be possible, having the gas giant to align in such a way in the sky, that it and its sattelites would reflect light into the planet like a gargatuan earth moon- That'd be a sight!

Again, nice job! c:

thank you. <3

Yea, I know what you mean. But for fisitors it must be pretty cool. ^^
I also wonder what impact it would have on the plants and creaturs on this moon...

Hehe, you are very welcome! c:

True, there would still be so many fancy ways the many moons could align each eclipse! ^^ About the impacts on the ecossystem, i think it would mostly depend on how often they happen, how long they last and if the planet is tidally locked. Creatures would probably fit their metabolysm to match the costant day/umbra cycles. The vegetation would most likely prowl in the hemispheres with most light, and who knows what kind of adaptive gimmicks the umbra vegetation could evolve?

It's acually a moon, not a planet. The Planet is the gas giant that blocks the star you see there. And it's too far away from its star to be tidally locked. c:

Oh, i though it was a planet captured into orbiting the gas giant (that would make it a moon anyway xD)
