I really appreciate your putting a spin on the classic Vasquez style, yet still remaining true to the necessary rules that make the show work (primarily, that of not having Zim magically grow six-feet).
The facial expressions really "work" here, too. Very well done.

Yumegari said it best...tho I myself am guilty of adding a couple feet or so to Zim in some of my drawings (for my own hormonal reasons), there's a definite beauty and naturalness captured in this that a more humanized Zim really doesn't possess. Very, VERY poignant.

Okay, I like this picture and I'll tell you why--it's one of the few that portray Zim remaining the same size no matter how much time passes. So Dib is all tall and stuff but Zim is still tiny. I like that. Zim IS, after all, an adult in the show. It's as tall as he's gonna friggin GET.
(That's what makes ZAGR and ZADR so ... disturbing, especially if Dib or Gaz are the same age as they were in the show... or even teenagers.... *brrrrrrr*)
Ennyhoo. *looks at picture again* Interesting how he looks so tiny and delicate.... like a little kid, really, up on his tiptoes and clinging to Dib's jacket like that... something strangely poignant about that....
