ooooh my gosh I love monster-y mermaids! I also really really love the murky sort of colors you used here and how piercing and contrasting the eyes are. The dark red wispy hair is a nice pop of color.
I remember I made a sketchy mermaid based on an anglerfish I named Estella a while back and I still have yet to have to draw her again.
