Okay. Detail time.

This pic was originally inspired by a thread on the forum, a thread asking who would win in a battle, the Cube, or the Doll.

I ended up posting twice with my thoughts on the matter.

"I'd have to vote the Companion Cube. I mean, the Tails Doll is a bit creepy himself in appearance, but I've never seen any actual recorded evidence of his reputed evil.

My second post:

"Now that I think about it...

While both are apparently capable of movement, the Cube has a tendency to wait until one's back is turned. The doll, from what I've heard, does not.

So, assuming a basic fight setting, with a clearly marked fight area... The doll, not really having to worry about losing sight of the cube, could easily win by pushing the cube for a ring out.

However, in nearly every other setting, the cube would have an advantage. The cube has a definite size and weight advantage (and, by some accounts, weaponry), and should the doll ever take its eyes off of the cube, it becomes open to attack. Also, the cube, being soulless, is pretty much immune from the doll's ability to steal souls.

The doll's best course of action would be to avoid the cube until it is able to locate an environmental hazard capable of destroying metal. Failing that, the only other possibility is to turn its unblinking stare upon the cube, thereby preventing the cube from further movement, until something else takes care of the cube.

So yes, in most cases, the Cube would probably win.

Now for the models, starting with the doll.

A rather easy edit of Tails. I used a Cookie Cut script to get the eyes right, and the stitches were rather easy.

The glow from the jewel is a Blender halo effect, and the glowing eyes are a simple gradient.

As for the cube, I realized I could use the Cookie Cut script to my advantage. Rather easy, amazingly. Much better than my old one, and it even has the glowing bits.

So hopefully I didn't doom myself or anything making this. XD
