The Roads family gather together for a family meal after a long day. Terra tells Rex and Chloe about her day playing with the strange kid that lives five blocks over. Patch gets bored of listening to his little sister's story. Suddenly, his phone vibrates as he receives a text message from a friend, Patch quickly starts texting back until her mother notices that he's stopped eating. Chloe clears her throat to get her son's attention, but Patch is too busy distracted by his phone and ignores her. Chloe swipes Patch's phone from his hand, "MOM!? What are you doing?" Patch says with a shocked look on his face. "No phones at the table, you know the rules. Care to tell us about your day, mister?" Chloe responds in a strict tone, Patch sighs in annoyance and then says,"I just went to Mr. Smoothie and rock climbing, that's all." Rex glances over at Patch's phone and asks."So who's Alexa?" Patch quickly responds."She's just some girl from my chemistry class, that's all." Terra smirks and says,"It's his girlfriend." Patch blushes in embarrassment and says,"Shut up, Mud brain! she's not my girlfriend." Chloe chuckles and says,"You seemed pretty happy to respond. Hey, it was great hanging out with you today. wanna hang out again next week?" mimicking Patch's voice as she reads his text message and everyone laughs. Patch says, "Can we please change the subject, please?"
