Okay, this can't wait for another day longer, because tomorrow I have bigger things to deal with (college payment for books, grocery, etc.). So this the early twentieth anniversary of the iconic Rayman! Normally, I would have planned to upload it the very next day, but with all the business on my sketchbook for submission also, I was afraid I would forget and do some more belated gifts. Well, not this time.

This here is done in the Art Nouveau style of Alfons Mucha, whom I studied for AP Art Studio back in senior high school. I loved his complex form of art, because of the flowing pattern and attention to detail (and what medium he used is still a mystery to this day!) Because he did commissions in France, why not make a Rayman poster in this breathtaking style? I also thought this would help make up for fans' mixed feelings of the phone game Rayman Adventures. I too was a bit disappointed, but I didn't care much for it (in fact, I saw a Let's-Play on it, same thing basically).

This took merely two weeks to finish it! Everything else is done in Prisma markers, except the background is colored with Prisma color pencils in the end.

Here's to twenty years and counting for this remarkable limbless hero who brought me lost memories of the time I was first introduced to Rayman 2.
