Hah this is brilliant. The eyes, the animal heads, the total monstrosity of both angels. People don't tend to realize that angels are not pretty people with wings. They're absolutely terrifying.

I mean think about it for a minute, in the bible whenever God wanted send someone a message, make an example of something or someone or destroying something he would send an angel
these things are not people with elegant swan like wings and fancy robes, they're absolute terrors, Angels, no matter the number of wings can drown cities in sulfur, turn oceans into salt, reduce a nations entire people into ash, unleash hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami's and wipe out civilizations in an instant, and the scary part is that they do this all for the sake of loyalty and obedience to their creator, imagine that, an existence dedicated to pleasing someone who would never give a father's praise or sign of approval, constantly spilling blood in the name of loyalty
a friend of mine once said that he thought that meeting an angel would be cool, I just looked at him

Okay, I cannot express to you how filled with love and joy and all these feelings your art of true-form-Cas makes me. I've spent the past, like, three weeks doodling around with ideas of what he's look like, and although yours obviously isn't exactly how I imagine him, just seeing another artist who's put so much thought and love and time into the same concept is making me overjoyed. I'm literally looking at every single one of these drawings, going "AAAAHHH" and pressing "favorite" like I'm on drugs or something. I am ecstatic right now and your art is gorgeous and has done such justice to these amazing characters.

I was just going through and faving everything and then it occurred to me that it never really means as much when I get a list of favorites as when I get a comment explaining what the list of favorites is actually about. In all honesty i'm really enjoying these concept arts of the angel's true forms!! I'm just kinda curious if you're going to do more of them? If so, i really hope to see Gabriel, i'd bet he'd have a really awesome one just like these two!

Nice! Big scary creepy looking angels are just so right and fitting, especially for the shows take on them. I'm ashamed to admit that I don't know that much about how angels look according to actual angel mythology but I definitely remember something about several heads so this feels kind of accurate which makes it that much more awesome. Nice job on the coloring as well.

This is absolutely beautiful. At the first look a little bit disturbing (I have to be honest), but the longer I stare at it the more adorable it gets. I like the protective gesture and how every of Castiel's heads still has those shining blue eyes.

Once again AMAZING! I think what I love the most is that the angels "true forms" don't look so Judo-Christian to me. They seem like a mixture of a lot of different religions. Go you!
