Note: This is an OBSERVATION and is not 100% likely to occur
For those who cant read the Steps:
1.)Theyre back(akatsuki) Madar didn't plan on it
2.)Shikamaru attending meeting
3.)Shikamaru memorizes plans
4.)Shikamaru remembers he can get information from Hidan
5.)Konoha digs up Hidan
Is it a coincidence Shikamaru attends the meeting? Probably because he's smart or kishimoto plans something with him.
I think im over exaggerating but note the possibility. Lemme get something straight, Akatsuki will LIKELY NOT dig up hidan. Why? In the manga, Madara never intended to revive the akatsuki. kabuto did just to make trust with Madara. Therefore, Hidan will not make a return...

UNLESS!
This OCCURS! Konoha later shall discover the return of akatsuki and go for him for information. This is our ONLY chance of him coming back,Its all or nothing. If noone gets him now, its a goner. Im starting to loose hope and have doubts. But this is the only, repeat, ONLY chance left for Hidan to get out. If not, he's gone for good for immortality will ware off. Im willing to wait a max of TWENTY chapters. No more, no less. If nothing occurs, he's going to be stuck there 'til his death. Let's hope not

Like you said Hidan only was only granted immortality was through experiments done on him by Jashin-sama.(yes his real if anyone don't know for some reason)So to keep his immorality he has to perform rituals because if he doesn't he will lose his immorality and become normal.Sine he was blown to bits by Shika he can't move let alone perform his rituals and will slow lose his immorality and die for real unless he will be dug up and put back together before that happens sooo...yeah good luck with that Hidan and keep prayin' to Jashin for that to happen.^^lol

Wow, how'd you get the pages of Hidan getting blown to bits and buried all colored? It looks really cool.
I'm hoping he comes back, because I read that Mashashi actually had Hidan having a lot of other really cool things he could do...but he never gave him a chance before 'killing' him off.
It really sucks that Hidan can die from 'lack of nutrition'. That entire concept sounded a little stupid to
me. Anyway, I really enjoy all of your Hidan theory pictures.

Well, Konan might not want any part of it either *shrugs* However, I have my own theory.
In order to seal and create the Juubi, I believe Madara would need all the rings of the King of Hell Statue. BUT guess where the other two rings are??
Maybe if Shika made the connection, he might think it best to get Konan and Hidan under Konoha's protective custody so Madara doesn't get ahold of them.

Im not giving up hope for abit, the fanbook said he wasnt dead, just dying slowly so..... hopefully he DOES do something with it. How can he not bring back the one guy in akatsuki with the most personality that isnt depressing? Deidra was the only other one aside from Hidan but I didnt get as many laughs with him as I did with Hidan D:

I hope it's not all for show. I really want Deidara and Sasori back. Itachi, too, because he life sucked. I assume you know now that that's not Hidan but Nagato, right? I thought it was Hidan when I first saw him. Which had me confused, because I thought Hidan was supposed to be alive at the bottom of a hole!

When I first read this chapter my thoughts were "Omg, maybe when Konoha learns that they're back Shikamaru will get paranoid go check to see if he is still in his hole!" ... But then who would actually get him out. XD So now all I'm hoping is that he'll somehow get out himself, disguise himself as an Anbu, and completely slaughter everything.

i thought of hidan disguising himself as anbu too! (mostly because its hot) but imagine if he and shika were chatting on a mission and he was totally oblivious to the fact that it's hidan behind the mask plotting to strike at him any second -3-

I think Hidan will return, I mean, why would kishi bring all of the dead members back and NOT hidan, and he doesn't even have to be brought back from the dead/ edo tensei'd, because he was never dead in the first place! I seriously hope Hidan does come back, he is my fave, and so is shikamaru, so a hidan vs shika 2 would be awesome.

This theory has been disproved due to the fact my senpai pointed out the fact that Konoha could easily go to Konan for information. So Hidan may be screwed unless something happens to Konan or another theory pops up. >.< I need to think the facts over
