She huffs when I take my camera, turning away slightly from the objective, playing the indifferent. She knows she shouldn't be here: this is my couch, not hers, but here she can bask in the first few spring sun rays. The leather is fresh under her paws, the plaid soft, the sun warm through the window. She seems to think I will ignore her if she ignores me and not tell her to get down. So when instead of shooing her I take the camera, trying to hide a smile, she sighs like a jaded star. It's so hard, a dog's life.Let me introduce you (again, for those knowing her) my lovely Taïga, 13 years old french bulldog and the self proclamed princess of the house. I found this picture by sheer luck: since my computer crashed down last week and I lost everything on it, and my back up drive broke at the same time (when it doesn't rain, it pours), I found this picture on a random usb flash drive. I had almost forgotten about it, but i liked it so thought I might share.

She's beautiful! That's so funny too, the poor dear, being a princess is always hard work xD
My dog does something similar, she steals people's chairs all the time if we vacate it for a moment, and when we come back she looks away and freezes as though she thinks we won't be able to see her if she's still enough xD

She's a staffy (Staffordshire bull terrier) but she's a tiny one, less than half the size of our other staffy.
We adopted her when she was fully grown, and she didn't have the best life before us, so she gets away with a lot more than she should

They are! And very loyal too. Plus because she's miniature-sized she makes a great lap-dog

Most nights I have to wake up before she manages to choke herself :/

Frenchie's are quite prone to it too because of their noses and airways, they make some of the cutest sounds though

Frenchies are prone to snoring, making general weird noises and yes, farting!

Oh she's beautiful! The description sounds a lot like my nan's last staffy actually, she lost her two years ago, but she was very sweet and lazy and used to lie in the sun until my nan dragged her inside too
Oh well, staffies aren't even prone to it and my girl still does all of that!
