Sooo I kind of love the idea of Astrid and Snotlout. He tried so hard and he seemed genuine enough despite his boasting and bravado. I think they woulda worked out! <3Related content

Yeah. I can see them together, especially when they are older. I think deep inside, Snotlout envied and admired Hiccup, which is why he was more competitive than usual around Hiccup. As time passes, I think he and Hiccup become real close. Snotlout learns to be soft, and Hiccup learns to be assertive. Astrid likes the man Snotlout has become, or decided to finally show and starts falling in love with him. I love the concept of poor Hiccup having to help Snotlout ask her out. lol

Goodness, I didn't think there would be someone else who love these two together. Thank you for brightening up my day. Love how you are able to give your characters warmth as well.

She isn't supposed to be fat there, of course. But her torso is facing frontal and Snotlout's is a side view.
I did beef her up a bit. The only thing that bothered me in the film was how Hiccup had such a hard time from everyone in the film for being scrawny, but Astrid didn't. Hah.

I don't think it would've worked. Astrid is way too intelligent for him. Hiccup didn't only impress her with landscapes, mostly with his inner strengh and intellect.
