I wanted to contribute to the Pearlrose bomb on 8/25/15 so this is what I came up with. It wasn't until they revealed Pearl's feelings for Rose that I truly began to understand her character and gain a lot of respect for her. The fact that Rose "is half of" Steven I believe has to do with why Pearl is so protective over him- because she remembers Rose is a part of him.

This is also more of my testing around with different drawing methods. I am quite satisfied with this one and will probably experiment some more with it.
