On of the final photos I took on my nature walk. I happened to be wondering where all the birds was as the river was an ideal spot for many birds, small or large. Lots of open branches for watching and other bushes better for hiding. I scanned the river-bed once more and almost walked by this blue heron, perched perfectly and blending in well with its surroundings.
