Whoo, another ref! 8D *would like to note most of these were drawn anywhere from a month to several months ago, so mostly all she's been doing is coloring and adding text*This here is Twenty-Five. 8> She's part of Project LAYHR, one of many subjects created by GeNtech Labs. Ah~
It's been ages since I've drawn her, and I was having a really hard time figuring out her markings; I knew they were more complicated than the first few times I tried, but for the longest time I had no idea how that should be. I'm pretty happy with them now, though the light blue ones are up for a bit~ of interpretation; I'm fairly certain with the rest, however!
I'll probably get into a bit more detail later, but her and L-2 teamed up when they were both fairly young, and have been inseparable ever since. *may try and upload his ref sometime tomorrow, but needs to update some text first* They were also involved a bit in GeNtech's R3 Protocol, which I'm not going to talk about yet. 8|

Twenty Fiiiveee 8DD Is so pretty. <33 Her markings are intense dude! XDD Every time you color her they get more and more epic. *really, really loves her paw/back/tail markings* I also liiiike...her number tattoo. 8| Because it's different. Did you get the rest of the system for that figured out yet? o3o
The movement in her pose is really great too. <3 I hadn't noticed before, but now I see that her little spike..jewelies are kind of swaying with her. 8DD aww.
I really like all of the extra text that you've got all over your refs. <333 Since you don't have a lot about Coreverse written down normally (somewhere besides AIM XD; ), it's really nice to see it here and be able to reread it again and again.
Nooowww...I can't remember, did you need to do something to L-2's ref too, or was this it? o_o *has no idea when we're cleared to start the trade, so she can start thinking about it, lolol*

yay! thanx! oh by the way, question, i was interested in the back stories of these characters and i just wanted to know... are some of these characters from different experiments or something? i saw for a few of them you call the project LAYHR and others are project chimaera. is there some connection between the two projects or are they two individual experimentations on animals?

Oh man, sorry for taking a while to get back to you! It's been a busy few days. XD; But thank you so much for asking all these questions; to be honest, when I first saw this comment, you really made my day. 8D <33 *loves when people ask things!*
Yes, Project LAYHR and Project Chimaera are two separate experiments, conducted by two completely separate facilities. :3 While Project LAYHR focuses more on the biological aspect of creating adaptable and unique creatures from scratch, Project Chimaera seems to be more focused on the use of technology + other means, and modifying already existing organisms to suit their needs. Another difference is that while Layhr can understand english, they can't speak it; Chimaera can.
Thanks! Nope, I'm pretty sure they've just got names; though they may be listed with some kind of number-sequence in the facility database, that would just be for the computer files. Layhr on the other hand, their numbers are their names, though sometimes they may be given a nickname either based on that number or.. just by somebody in general. XD; But yes, I think that the Chimaera are far more loyal to those who 'created' them, but I'm not sure it has anything to do with NECs- not every project there uses them [for instance, while Nova's systems do, I don't think Ted does], and I think their loyalty comes from something far more deeply ingrained.

so, i can understand Nova's loyalty and Ted is in it for something else, working with Nova with 'missions' and such, although they may not be on the best terms with eachother, they still manage to work together well (they remind me of Kisame and Itachi the first time i read their data sheets 
what else could they be after? the scientists took them when they were normals and planted metals and stuff in their bodies and they didnt bare any grudge? quite the contrary actually huh xD

Actually, Nova and Ted get along great- it's just other people they don't necessarily get along well with. XD Though if you're paying them to do a job, they're usually fairly content; I'm not certain, but I think they mostly get along pretty well with their own kind well enough. And paying customers. :B As an interesting fact, Nova will actually call on Ted to assist her in planning/achieving certain things on her own jobs, if it's proving challenging enough.
I'm honestly not sure why they're as loyal as they are to the company that created them, though. I get the feeling that, if they weren't raised [there] from the start (even if they weren't 'created'), then they were at least modified starting when they were young enough; perhaps they've grown up their entire lives with the idea that these people are their bosses/superiors, and that's just how they roll. :x

XDD They didn't originally, but for some reason the more I drew her, the more they began to resemble it; the change itself wasn't on purpose, but now whenever I draw her I do think of that! So you aren't wrong in thinking that's what they spell out, coincidence or otherwise. ;3

i'm not sure. I especially like just. . the mouth/bridge of the nose/nose padding and how you got them to all look. . . dimensional? ;A; I dunno, it's jsut when i draw them, i dont really make them look like that. how do i explain it XD
