Pleasantly surprised myself with decent pencil portrait while playing with my new colored pencils. I feel very proud of myself. Originally I was using the pencils for outlining so I can color it with markers but my pencils got a bit carried away haha.Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils on Canson multimedia paper.

I need to explore more on pencils, I usually use them only at the very end but it is true they can be good for shading and outlining as well

If you haven't, try to use them on top of markers, they help in making details, highlights and shadows because you have much better control than with markers
