A shot of my Ysera cosplay from Anime LA! Thanks to Vince for taking the time to shoot with me ~ as awesome as Blizzcon was, I'm happy to have pictures with fresh make up and more than 2 hours of sleep under my belt... xD!!This costume was made entirely by me ~ if you're interested in construction info (and more pictures xD) please visit my ACP page ! <3

What are the shoulders made from and how long did they take? They are so amazing!

Thank you <3! The bulk of the shoulders is layers of the extra-thick craft foam glued on top of one another, attached to a hallowed out styrofoam ball that sits on my shoulder. The rest of the shape of the shoulder was built up using paperclay, which I sanded and hand painted with acrylics. ^^

I love this! what material did you use for the green armor?

Thank you <3! The green armor is mostly craft foam! Some of the curved pieces have a layer of wonderflex to help the craftfoam maintain that certain shape. I also painted the craft foam with a couple of layers of "easy cast" resin to give it a little extra sturdiness. ^^
