hey! so, first off welcome to my group! I checked out the lore for teavrees so I could figure out what I could ask for your OC:
- I saw that Teavrees have a lot of shared personality traits; imprinting on / following a master, always liking children, being picky eaters, etc... Is Bloom standard in this respect? Or does he differ from the norm in any way?
- Their tea has a variety of effects, what does Bloom's tea do? Any unusual quirks?
- What kind of master does Bloom have? Does he even have one? If he does, how is he treated? Will the way he and his master treat/view each other change over time? If he doesn't, will he get one, would he even want one? What kind of life does he live? Is he and/or his master well off, very poor, or in the middle?
- His outfit looks really fancy. If he IS poor, how did he get it? If he's well off, did he choose his outfit or did his master dress him? Would he dress differently if he could choose?
- For that matter, how dependent is he on his master, if he has one? Is he's very dependent, will this change over time? Does his master want him to be very dependent or more independent? If applicable, how does this manifest?
- How does he view his tea-making abilities? Does he feel shoehorned into that being his only role in life, and has a very different goal in life? Does he like his role as a tea-maker, but has other roles he likes to fill (i.e, an artist, a warrior, a caretaker, a teacher, or anything else)? Or is he happy just making tea forever?Β Does he have a dream for the future?
- Even so, does he have other skills and hobbies? Things he does well, or not well at all? Of the things he's good at, and bad at, which ones does he care about? Maybe he's proud of the things he's good at, and refuses to practice the things he's bad at... or inversely, he could be good at something he doesn't care much about, and bad at anything he really wants to be better at!
- What kind of personality flaws does he have? If he's a very childlike character, is he whiny? naive? a pushover? What about his personality strengths? If he's childish overall, consider a trait that's more mature and contradicts it: he could be very empathic, emotionally mature, insightful, a genius... something that, on the occasion it comes up, really impresses people who were expecting a purely childish character.
- How does he feel about his species' mutism? Was he able to learn how to write? If so, did it take a lot of work or did he pick up on it particularly easily? Does he wish he could speak? Can he communicate in other ways (body language, sign language... maybe even a psychic link to his master...)? Or, perhaps, could his master give/have given him the ability to speak?
- Does he have any weird habits, beliefs, phobias, or quirks? Did they come from anywhere?
- Any major events that have happened in his life, before or after he met his master? Did they effect him or his personality?
- Does he have any relationships with people besides his master? What kind of relationships are they, and how do they effect him?
- Is he dishonest with himself about any aspect of his life? If he's not satisfied, does he refuse to believe it? If he has dreams, does he deny them? If he dislikes his master, does he accept that? What could change this?
hopefully these aren't too many questions! The more you can add to him beyond just being a tea-making servant, the more depth he will have... but that's not to say he has to be a complete weirdo of a teavree who doesn't follow any aspect of his species' nature. You shouldn't feel compelled to answer every question posed!
