Description November 27th,

"I'll have a classic chocolate milkshake please." I told the woman behind the counter. She adjusted her red-and-white striped hat before writing down my order. Samuel nudged me. "Oh, and can I have an extra straw?"
"Yes, ma'am. That'll be six-dollars and ninety-seven cents." She told us. Sam handed her a handful of change, which she dropped in the cash register.
"I like these milkshakes." I said, waiting in anticipation. Our hockey team stood behind us in line, waiting for our post-hockey-game milkshakes here at the Coffee Den.
"I know you do. That's why all the employees know you by name." Samuel smiled, taking the glass of heaven. We walked across the black-and-white checkered floor to a long, blue-topped table that Carter was saving for us. He grinned when we came closer.
"How come she doesn't know my name, then?" I asked, referring to the woman that just served us.
Samuel shrugged, and slid into the booth beside Carter.  "She must be new."
"Is that for me?" Carter reached out for our milkshake. Sam punched him on his shoulder.
"No way, man." Sam laughed, and handed me the glass, out of Carter's reach.  He winked. "It's for me and my lady friend."
My mouth dropped, and my eyebrow rose. Sam and I always had a close relationship, but now he was just mocking me. I began to protest, but the rest of our team came bumbling loudly towards our table. Declan and Cole, the two inseparable best friends, sat down across from us.
"Hullo!" Cole nearly yelled, unintentionally calling the attention of everyone in the café. He was smiling like a goof, and his sandy-blonde hair stuck out in every direction.  Declan slid in next to him, carrying a plate of fries. I noticed one stuck in his massive layers of hair.
"Nothing like a good meal to finish off the day, how 'bout it, guys?" Declan laughed loudly, submerging his fries entirely with ketchup. He stuffed one in Cole's face.
"I agree." Carter said, digging into his own food. "That game was intense, wasn't it?"
All five of us nodded. Prior to our food-hunting, the Wildcats' participated in a full-blown hockey game against one of the toughest teams in the league. It was one of the first games of the season, and we had won. Coach treated us to the glorious food at the Coffee Den. I smiled as I tried to get the thick milkshake out of the thin, spiral straw.
