SparklyDest β€” Peacock X-Stitch

Description This is one of the two cross stitches I have been working on lately. It is 5" by 7", of a peacock sitting on a flowering branch. I was so excited when I bought this, I couldn't wait to work on it and get it done and up on my wall. Due the fact that THIS is what I was working on when my son had the incident of almost cutting off the tip of his finger....I am not as excited about it anymore. I tweaked some of the directions due to lack of motivation to keep working on it. It is still pretty, but it is always going to hold a bit of negative feeling for me. At least I finished it though.

must have taken a while to get it done.
it's been ages since I've done anything like this and I'm not sure I'd stay motivated long enough to finish something so complex. so you have my admiration.
