My entry for #EmoticonOpus 's Fandom Contest , hosted by `stuck-in-suburbia .I love Dr. Who. I might even be a Whovian, although I would be a novice one at best. The Weeping Angels from the series are some of the scariest monsters I have ever heard up. I mean, statues kinda creeped me out before...but now?
The green guy is staying strong, having seen this episode of Dr. Who
. His eyes are wide and he is good. The purple guy...well, he blinked.

On the bright side, they don't actually kill you as long as they feed on your energy. They just send you back in time. Still pretty creepy though, who'd want to never see their friends/family again and start anew? Not to mention no one would believe you and it'd be hard to get around without a birth certificate/identification.....

The angels got stuck in my head because the episode "blink" did a great job of making them to be super creepy

The most unbelievable part of any episode involving weeping angels is how the characters are able to keep their eyes open for so long - especially when something that terrifying is staring back at them

Unless... *thinks of a different episode with the 11th Doctor, a blinded Amy Pond, and... Angel Bob. DX * Honestly, THAT was probably the scariest Weeping Angel episode. Well, for me, at least. I mean seriously!!! If you stare at them, then you have a memory of them. Which is an image. And... An image of an angel turns into an angel.... HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DEFEAT THEM THEN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
