For quite sometime now, I have realized I needed a shudder emote. It's that feeling when you get when you hear something...that just doesn't sit right. Maybe it is too gross, or too personal, or just something you couldn't see yourself ever doing/feeling/etc. If it is extreme enough, I will find myself shuddering.
I attempted to get the short burst of shaking that I associate with a "shudder" and feel pretty good about it. However, I also realize it looks a lot like a vigorous NO head shake.
Any suggestions on tweaking it would be greatly appreciated.

This is great! Maybe if the shake was a little less long, and there was a bit more of a pause between shakes. Furthermore, it looks too happy before the shake. I know it's not smiling, but the hands by the mouth make it look happier. Perhaps make the mouth go almost downwards?
Seriously, though, I love it as is. SO FAB.

I tried to make the mouth go downwards, it looked really awkward. And originally I had the hands at the side, then come in for the actual shake....but I have a lame animation program that kept adding pixels where there didn't need to be any.

Hmm, okay. And you're so welcome! I had another idea, though! I think this one will really make it clear that it isn't a quick "no" shake. What if it also vibrated slightly up and down instead of side to side? Maybe I'm a weird shudder-er, but my shoulders always tend to go up. Perhaps that would work?

I type :shudder: all the time. Or think to type it. I am glad others find it useful.

I think the speed and time the emote shakes, as well as the position of the hands help make it look more like a shudder rather than a no.
