His parents had failed him. His friends had abandoned him, Gotham itself had failed him. Was Bruce on this path the entire time? Was fate leading him on since the very moment he’d discovered his father’s crimes? Bruce looked deeply into the void and the void looked back, and it laughed. Alfred feared him, Selena ran for her life when Bruce couldn’t contain the first of his many outbursts to come.
There was only one person who understood him, and was drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Bruce dove inside the stark emptiness of his faith and there to catch him was John, Joker. He became Bruce’s jester prince, his only source of solace guiding him further and further towards what he had meant to become all along.

Thanks for the request! I really didn’t know what to draw for this, so here’s what I could imagine! Bruce’s fall into darkness seems almost inevitable sometimes, doesn’t it? Joker is the only other soul in the world who seems to love him no matter what he does.
