This thing is huge o.o Possibly the most I have ever worked on a character in my life. Took me today and yesterday to finish and I still might add more to it. I give a whole new meaning to starving artist when I forget to eat because I'm too wrapped up in my work.

This picture, as usual with a lot of my works, was a first time doing a lot of things. Especially the way that I did the wings. I never do them that way... not that detailed much less multi-colored. I'm happy with the way they came out. I'm glad I had the idea for the Asian style pheonix characterized as a person. ^^ It was really fun to draw, just really hard work.

I was at a loss for a background and I think that this makes the character really stand out. I might do something with it in the future, but right now, I'm tired xD
