Every time I see pictures by you I get really excited. It's just so beautiful how you have these blendy, oil-like colours digitally and there are all these interesting shapes and artefacts in the shading while still remaining a high degree of realism.

one of the sources i cite the most (other than just an obsessive amount of real media work over the years are) here: [link] The other was a speedpaint tutorial that got a dd here on da a while back, but i somehow didn't favorite it. i'll try and find it, though.

Oh god, it's so good. I find so many tutorials and things like that just amount to "be able to draw really well" and it's discouraging. I'd love it if there was an easy way to be amazing but I've got to learn the hard way.
