Wow this piece absolutely blows me away. Right off the bat, I can't help but be drawn to how smooth and painterly this looks. I really love the bright highlights as well, they really help to define her face and make the important areas pop. I also love how much color variation there is in her skin tone with the shades of purple yellow and green. It really makes the subject look like she is in the environment of the background, even if it is fairly simple. Over all, it just makes the color scheme of the painting very beautiful and cohesive.
As for constructive criticism, I don't really have a ton to say without being really nit picky, but if I had to find something it would be that the right eye looks a little flat. Maybe adding a deeper crease in the eyelid might help? I'm not entirely sure myself. It's such a tiny thing though so I wouldn't worry about it.
Really, this is such an amazing piece and I can't wait to see more from you! Keep up the amazing work! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>

What can I say this certainly catches the eye without too much efforte.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/> The background looks great in contrast with the main subject although rather than bringing it out I think it serves more as a green film over some parts of the girls curls that seem to swirl into and fade in the background that as said before in a way has an obscuring quality to it like that of a fog which on the other hand instead gives more exposure to the face itself as the hair isn't too bright.

The shading is wonderfully executed so far as realism of skin and form goes, though perhaps on a level more fanciful than what a real person should look like. But that is irrelevant in the face of different styles e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/> and the accents of lightness and darkness make that stand out, giving her a glowing and mellow complexion which in turn creates an interesting contradiction against the dominative element of ghostliness present in this marvelous paintinge.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/>
