I might come back to this; I like the concept, but I'm not yet sure how well it works in this format. I keep returning to my favourite theme of living things transgressing into the inanimate. For something in the similar vein, see The Japanese Ghosts .

I should probably point out that this particular vignette was intended to be less metaphorical than it came out to be.

Note: Well this is very clearly not poetry; but DA doesn't seem to allow "visual prose". I don't want to put this in scraps because, well, this isn't a scrap. If anyone has any alternative ideas, do let me know.x
