Description
For those of you who have seen my "Return of Gods" deviation, you knew this was coming; Goku & Kratos could only work together for so long until an epic confrontation would break out for the world to enjoy. Another tribute to 2 of my favorite franchises out there: the Dragonball Series & the God of War Saga. Enjoy!

well now kratos must fight ssjgssj (from what i know in revival of f Goku's base was as strong as his ssjg so kratos wont stand a chance) but awesome job here, I especially love the lighting job on the kamehameha and the shading that came with it. It was obvious that a lot of work was put into this

I've seen the games God of War, and Kratos just massacred the entire army, the legendary and mythical beasts and gods by the hands of the Spartan, but with Son Goku, the extraterrestrial martial artist would be much of the challenge for Kratos to match up with weapons from above Heaven to under Hell against the Saiyan with long distant shots and close combat against any threat he faces with the magical Nyoi-Bo and Kinto-Un along with transformations and techniques! I guess Goku has the upper hand I think, aside for him being a monkey king like Sun Wukong!

Lol, well to be clear, you can't think up this match up literally... cuz he all kno who the clear winner in this match is lol. This drawing is just meant to be enjoyed for what it is, a kool idea, letting ur imagination take this battle to knew heights
But yea, in my story (Dragonball XL), the Gods of Olympus have a huge power boost compared to what is seen of them in god of war or known in true greek mythology. A backstory for them will is included in one of my stories so u see exactly how powerful the gods really are is comparison to the charcters of the known z universe. In this way, it is made so kratos can stand as an actual & believable threat to the z fighters.

LOL! You have no idea bro! There's soo much more to this story than you can imagine. Making progress, but still got a very long ways to go. That quote though really got me excited, is the Book of Apocalypse a real book? If so, I think it's something I definitely have to give a read

No, it's actually the last book in the bible that describes the final battle between god and Satan. It's supposed to predict the future, but Greek history has something like it. There are numerous sources that detail the destruction of the old world in Greek mythology when the Olympians were born and took the new world from their parents, the Titans, before sealing them in Tartarus and announcing a new world order. I figured that since humans would be the only beings that would record this, they would see the Sayains arrival as "beings from the stars" who would liberate them after the tyranny of Kratos and Ares. In a similar fashion, if the Sayains heralded the end of the era of Gods, it would be fitting for the humans to portray them ending their reign in the same way the Olympians started it.
I mostly make shit up as I go along. But I write a bit as well, so if something cool comes to mind, I like to share it.
