The Dragonborn was able to find the Mythic Dawn Camp where the Mythic Dawn cultist are excavating an artifact of some kind to power up an Oblivion Gate they rebuild.After the Dragonborn killed the three members Mythic Dawn the camp he found a journal belonging to the Excavation Leader. Reading it revealed the reason why they are here...
