Luhre is very, very good at what he does...and will go to out of his way to tell you so. Arrogant is putting it lightly - he's downright narcissistic. That being said, it's not without merit - Luhre is rather skilled as both an electrician and a security officer - but a people-person, he is not. As such, there are those he will gravitate towards, and those he will avoid like a plague. The latter group is definitely larger than the former...and it has definitely landed him in hot water with his coworkers on more than one occasion.
His work as both a security officer and electrician are a great source of pride for Luhre - after all, a ship can't run without someone to maintain the electrical systems, and those who cannot defend themselves need someone to protect them. So, while he can be a bit of a jerk about it, he's genuinely happy to provide such an important service to those aboard the ship, especially since he is following in his parent's footsteps.
While he may not get along with other people that well, he is incredibly close with his Ditto, Leliel. They've been friends for years, and Leliel is an incredibly important component in Luhre's work. As such, Luhre can be extremely defensive of the little guy, even if such a reaction is unnecessary.

From the very beginning, Luhre was destined to follow in the footsteps of his father. The son of a proud patrolman, Luhre learned the value of protecting and defending others from harm at a young age, and idolized the work his father did. While joining the Guardians was a sure thing well before Luhre turned 16, it wasn't until his schooling began that a knack for all things electronics - a gift passed down from his mother - was discovered. From that point on, Luhre began training in two fields, and with both parents encouraging and pushing him to succeed, he quickly became a standout student.
Unfortunately, Luhre's mother was lost in an accident while making repairs to the ship's systems - an event that clearly changed Luhre. He had always been confident in his own skills, but the loss of his mother caused Luhre to develop his trademark arrogance as an emotional shield. His father was emotionally crippled by their loss, and as such, Luhre became more and more independent as time passed, eventually considering himself to be alone.
Relationships:
- Father: A huge influence on Luhre as a child. A proud, caring man, he devoted himself to working as a police officer for the Guardians. He always encouraged his son to follow his own path, but was admittedly happy that Luhre became a Guardian. The loss of his wife devastated him, and while he tried to act normally, it was clear that the loss changed him. Assumed KIA after the incident.
- Mother: An energetic young electrician, one who was more than happy to engage in "healthy competition". She constantly pushed Luhre to do more, and was excited to train him after he became interested in her work. KIA after an accident while repairing parts of the arkship's electrical systems.
- Prefers to keep his on-duty officer's uniform 100% pristine unless otherwise necessary.
- Is trained to use firearms, but prefers to use Leliel as a blunt weapon instead (see below).
- Luhre is technically proficient in hand-to-hand combat, but is far more effective with a weapon (or Leliel) in hand.
- While he is known for being a loud-mouth braggart, Luhre has been seen (on occasion) quietly resting in his quarters.

At first glance, it doesn't look like Leliel has much of a personality to speak of: the Ditto is mostly content to stay perched on Luhre's shoulders or in his Pokeball. Upon closer inspection, however, Leliel is fiercely loyal to its master, even if it's a bit of an airhead.
Typically, Leliel is used as Luhre's all-in-one toolbox - as long as it's not made of complex moving parts, Leliel can transform into whatever instrument his master needs. And, on occasion, the Ditto has been used as a blunt weapon - usually taking the form of a simple police baton.
