I used a vector software. I created each block in isometric, then I placed them together following one of your blueprints. 
Each layer of the house is on a different layer in the vector program, so I can light them on and off to reveal the consrtuction sequence.

Imagine a booklet in PDF, or a sequence of images that can be animated by a click of a button to pass from a step to the other.

Sounds fine? It can be done!
