The wound cuts deeper than I think you could ever imagine.
A single shed of blood for your sorrow is a tragedy.
The compulsion is to blame the one who should've been there to aid
my self confidence shattered by the slice of single blade.
A world full of pain,
A world I've never heard.
I don't comprehend the same thoughts but inside I feel your hurt.
The edge is your friend who you've trusted so dear
but the edge is my enemy and my enemy's getting near.
A "fear" doesn't describe what i dread inside my head
when the images bombard my mind of freshly flowing red.
The sensation you must feel when the scars burst wide open,
I couldn't compare that to any of the single emotions
I've given you today, yesterday, or any day.
If it'd be worth it, I wish i could just show you in some way.
That when the skin gives way and the problems then subside
