Yes indeedy I noticed the Angels popped up every time Amy had significant character development.

"Flesh & Stone": Happy to be alive after almost being killed by the Angels, she throws herself at The Doctor who then promptly retrieves Rory so she can remember how devoted they are to each other.
"God Complex": The Doctor makes Amy lose faith in him to save themselves from the Minotaur and by extension the Angels, then kicks her and Rory out of the TARDIS so they don't die gruesomely.
"The Angels Take Manhattan": Amy definitively chooses a life with Rory over a life with The Doctor.
